2 · The school

Dulwich College, est. 1619

Dulwich College is one of the UK’s oldest independent schools, founded in 1619 by the Elizabethan actor Edward Alleyn. Its grand Victorian buildings and green grounds sit in leafy south London, with easy access to the centre of the capital. Former pupils include the polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and the writer P. G. Wodehouse.

In summer, the campus offers the security of a traditional boarding school combined with a real London experience. The programme is British Council accredited and rated a Centre of Excellence by EL Gazette from 2018 to 2026.

3 · The summer programme

London becomes part of the classroom

Students join their chosen programme each morning. Career Discovery explores different industries through simulations, workshops and team challenges. The QPR Pro Football Club Experience introduces elite football through coaching, workshops and behind-the-scenes stadium access at Queens Park Rangers FC. English Adventures develops fluency and confidence through engaging lessons, projects and practical communication.

Afternoons bring practical projects, London fieldwork and Time to Shine presentations. Across all three programmes, students come together for London excursions and evening events.

Students take a short English placement test before arrival and leave with a personalised certificate and student report.
