The best summer school address in London

Our London Westminster centre sits in the heart of Westminster, directly opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, overlooking the River Thames and a short walk from the London Eye.

It is a purpose-built campus with classrooms, art and drama spaces, science labs, a dining room, a coffee shop, a garden and a social atrium – with boarding and teaching all under one roof.

Residential students stay in single en-suite bedrooms (a few twin rooms are available), with management and camp counsellors living on site.

3 · The summer programme

Three programmes under one roof

Every course uses CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning. English is not taught as a separate subject: students learn everything in English, through projects, debate, creativity and real communication.

The focus is on skills that matter now: critical thinking, human judgement, truth literacy, creativity and confidence.

Adventurers · day camp, ages 7–10
Experience London · ages 11–17
Own Your Future · specialist courses, ages 14–17

Experience London · ages 11–17

Fifteen hours of lessons a week bring each London trip to life. Every week has a new London theme, and students study English, advanced vocabulary, communication and cross-curricular humanities – history, politics, economics, culture and sustainability – not from a textbook but by experiencing the city. Classes are grouped by age: Pathfinders, Explorers and Engagers.

Own Your Future · ages 14–17

Get Ready for Medicine
Clinical workshops and scenarios with a doctor, biology and chemistry practicals including heart and lung dissections, an Emergency First Aid qualification, medical ethics, personal statement, interview and UCAT preparation, medical visits, a university visit, and a research project presented to an expert panel.
Get Ready for Future Gen Study
Essay writing, presentations, critical thinking, innovation, data and design, and global perspectives, plus one specialist stream – Entrepreneurship (idea, brand and pitch), Digital and Tech (AI, coding and design) or Sustainability (energy, climate and demographics) – and an independent project.
Be a Leader (all students)
Morning assemblies, guest speakers from different professions, psychometric and aptitude tests, and a personal "My Career Choice" report. Students leave with two CPD qualifications, a teacher’s report and a certificate.

Adventurers day camp · ages 7–10

Mornings are spent in small, hands-on classes (up to 12) led by experienced primary teachers, covering English, maths, science, social studies and the arts. In the afternoons, Adventurers head out into London with their teachers – places like the London Aquarium and the National Gallery. Day runs 8:30–18:00, Monday to Friday, with lunch included.

Timetable: a typical Experience London week

Groups alternate: some weeks lessons are in the morning and trips in the afternoon, and other weeks the other way round. Own Your Future students follow a longer specialist day (8:30 assembly, pathway sessions until 13:30, then projects, visits and workshops).
